This organisation was born from its mother organisation, CICCETSS (Commonwealth International Cultural and Charity Evening TV-Special Showcase) which is the sole organiser of the Miss Commonwealth Pageant Worldwide. The Miss Commonwealth Nigeria Pageant has been around since 2002 but has not been in full operation. It is now back and has evolved into a newer and better form, bringing back a unique sense of Strength, Glamour and Positivity. The Miss Commonwealth Nigeria Title brands and empowers its winners, not just as Beauty Queens but as Commonwealth Ambassadors, recognised at covetous levels internationally and at the Royal Commonwealth Empire in the UK. The title aims at uniting Nations and promoting Culture, Tourism and Charity. It is globally renowned for its reputation in empowering ladies and teaching them to participate in the promotion of community and environmental sustainability so as to Improve the Quality of Life.
The Search for the Next Miss Commonwealth Nigeria
The search which is set to begin in the second quarter of 2012 has promises to be one of a kind. It is tagged “BEAUTY UNCOMMON”. This will herald a new dawn in pageantry. 40 Contestants are promised a month of fun-filled and thrilling experiences on “Boot Camp”. They must overcome the tasks set out for them, while staying true to themselves and every value of prestige and selflessness. At each stage they must win the heart of the judges and that of the people to earn them their points.
Finally, the finalists take on the stage on the grand finale to see who amongst all possesses the true feminine, unique, Uncommon Beauty as she emerges as MISS COMMONWEALTH NIGERIA 2012.
The title bearer will be actively involved in community projects, working for the Human Well Being Foundation. She will render assistance to the Federal Government and State Government if and when necessary and also support related registered National and International NGO's and Charitable Organisation.
